Join our Magnet®-recognized nursing staff on this world-class surgical team within a level 1 trauma center. This high-volume cardiac surgery department conducts over 1,300 adult and pediatric procedures annually — the most in the Mid-Atlantic and southeastern region of the United States. Our team provides a diverse array of surgical procedures ranging from complex heart and lung transplants and trauma cases to aortic valve stems and catheterization. With a collaborative team approach to medicine and an innovative spirit, we are continually expanding our capabilities with advancements in traditional open-heart procedures and new techniques for minimally invasive surgeries.

When you join the CVOR RN team, we will provide you with advanced training so you can scrub and circulate for all CVOR procedures. As a critical unit, we work together and share on-call duties to provide 24/7 staffing in the OR. This is an opportunity to learn and grow in your profession as you work alongside an experienced team of advanced practitioners, surgeons and critical care physicians in a collaborative team providing lifesaving care.
